Yoga for Relaxation

Using basic and gentle yoga moves along with breathwork to bring both flexibility and relaxation to the students. This class is designed to assist in reducing stress as well as creating a practice you may use at home to increase your own flexibility and balance.

The holidays are a hectic time. Take two nights for yourself and experience relaxation.

Train to become a working Registered Maine Guide not just a test taker. Learn the skills that guides use daily including: map & compass, coastal navigation, shelter building, separated client searches, cooking, canoeing, snowshoeing, SUP’ng, plus specialty skills for recreation, sea kayaking, tide-water fishing, inland fishing, and hunting future guides. This ten-session hybrid program includes Zoom, optional all-day skill workshops, and homework assignments. Optional skills workshops are at an additional cost. Those thinking of becoming a Registered Maine Guide will need to take a first aid and CPR course, not included. 

This is a Zoom class. Please make sure to register with an accessible email.

Instructor Bio

Alice Bean Andrenyak is a Maine native living in Brunswick. She is a Master Maine Guide, Kripalu Mindful Outdoor Experiences & Forest Bathing Guide, USCCA Instructor, NRA Instructor and Range Safety Officer. As a former elementary teacher she enjoys teaching adults currently.

This is a great workshop for anyone who wants to learn more about nutrition, healthy eating, and meal planning - regardless of diagnosis!

Tai Chi is an enjoyable exercise that can improve balance and relieve pain, while improving your overall health and wellness. It is a slow exercise that’s easy to learn and good for all ability levels. The essential principles of Tai Chi include mind and body integration, fluid movements, controlled breathing, and mental concentration. Tai Chi is one of the most effective exercises for the health of mind and body.
