Overview of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)

This course provides an abbreviated overview of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and how it is used to support youth with disabilities. ABA is a type of therapy that focuses on improving specific behaviors, such as social skills, communication, adaptive learning skills, hygiene, etc. ABA is effective for children and adults with psychological disorders in a variety of settings. It has also been shown that ABA can significantly improve behaviors and skills and decrease the need for special services.
