Let us escort you in comfort as you sample specialty wines along a portion of the Maine Wine Trail. Experience the natural beauty of Maine for a day of touring, tasting, and enjoying the best of Maine – in a bottle! Be sure to bring along a shopping bag and take home some of the best wines Maine has to offer. Our first stop will take us to Sweetgrass Winery in Union where they use Maine grown fruits and grains to produce hand-crafted wines and spirits with a distinctive Maine terroir. Just down the road is Savage Oakes Winery where they offer the state’s largest selection of Maine grown grape wines. Try First Kiss, Barnyard Red, Blushing Moose or Blue Moon. The names are as much fun as the samples! A catered lunch will be served at the always popular Cellardoor Winery in Lincolnville, where we will have a guided tour of the winery and sample several different wines. Some of the favorites include Perfect Stranger and Queen Anne’s Lace. Late afternoon takes us to Tree Spirits in Oakland, known for their picnic wines, brandies and absinthe. No one under 21 may participate -must have valid ID. For liability reasons, alcohol consumption on the bus is not permitted. Registration fee includes motor coach transportation, catered lunch, tastings, tours, snacks and souvenir glasses. Deadline to register is April 3rd. No refunds will be issued after this date.
