We invite you to Journey Uptah Camp like never before! In this two-hour, mulit-media, 3D historic discovery program presented by the Friends of the Maine State Museum, students will be guided through the rich history of Maine sportsmen and the sporting camp tradition with the Director of the Maine State Museum, Bernard Fishman.
Mr. Fishman will present and narrate over 60 visually stunning, century-old historic stereoview images of Maine Sporting Camps in 3D! Students will be provided with 3D glasses for viewing.
Jennifer Dube, Director of the Friends of the Maine State Museum, will complement the 3D image narration with a documentary video that includes rich stories of avid Maine sportsmen and woman who share a deep and important traditional knowledge of an important Maine community- the avid Maine Sportsmen and Sporting Camp Tradition.
This presentation, Uptah Camp, can be further explored through seven oral history transcripts and additional documentary videos.
This rich multi-media 3D discovery program was sold out in Augusta in May and in August in Rangeley. Don't delay in registering!Code: 6200.08.0.318.51.161198
