Iceland - Land of Fire and Ice

Some of the earth's most astounding and extreme landscapes can be found in Iceland - the land of fire and ice.
Join Deb (who has explored much of the country's southern coastal areas) for a highlights tour of natural wonders that make Iceland one of Lonely Planets top European destinations.
We'll explore the Golden Circle, a ring of some of Iceland’s most magnificent geysers and waterfalls, the south coast ( a stunning region of black beaches, looming glaciers and picturesque villages) and we'll cruise through the Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon (famed for its huge blue icebergs). We'll visit the world famous Blue Lagoon and walk on a glacier at Snæfellsnes National Park, visit an Icelandic settlement exhibition and learn about Viking history.
We'll talk about culture, history, traditions, food, wildlife and more as we discover Iceland's allure for travelers.
Tips and travel resources will be offered.
