Fly Casting (Intermediate Level)

The main subject of this course allows you to become a more proficient angler in the utilization of various presentations casts. You will learn static mending, aerial mending, curve casts both positive and negative, steeple casts, and tuck casts to name a few. Static and dynamic roll casting in addition to single handed spey casting will also be part of the course. Emphasis will be placed on distance casting, double haul, casting stroke. Drift and back casting are included in this important technique. Portions of the class will utilize videotaping to provide feedback to casters. This class takes place on Wednesdays (5-630pm) and Saturdays (230-4pm) every week. Please bring your own rod, reel, and line 5 weight or above.
