Certified Nursing Assistant
with Diann Bailey
The CNA program is a 200-hour course consisting of classroom, lab and clinical instruction in an area health care facility. This program meets the Maine State Board of Nursing requirements.
Successful completion of this course and passing the State of Maine CNA competency exam will qualify an assistant to work in a hospital, rehabilitation facility, clinic, or home health care.
An admission interview is required along with a reading assessment to show English reading proficiency. Upon acceptance to the CNA program, an applicant must have a background check.
Candidates for the CNA program must call us at 582-3774 to arrange an appointment for the CASAS Reading Assessment.
Candidates will be given an application packet to submit when they complete the assessment, along with a list of items they will need for the interview.
