Wool Applique-Snowman Stocking

Add this sweet and whimsical stocking to your winter decorating. A 24" long and slender snowman is blanket stitched onto 30" long stocking in barn red wool felt. The snowman is embellished with rusty bells for buttons, a gold scarf, mini black seed beads for eyes, and a black top hat with a blue bird on top. Let it Snow is stitched at the foot of the stocking. This adorable piece can be displayed on a door or wall.

Kits $12.00 can be purchased from instructor at first class.


Yoga and Meditation for Stress Reduction and Healthy Sleep

Do you have problems falling or staying asleep? Does your mind constantly race? Prepare for the busy holiday season with time for yourself. This course will teach you gentle, flowing yoga moves coordinated with your breath to help you relax into breathwork and meditation as well as guided relaxation. This class will help you find a pattern that works for you that you can use on your own to enhance your busy and often stressful life. Please bring a mat, blanket and pillow. You may also bring a cushion to sit on if you like.

Many of us experience chronic back discomfort due to aging, poor posture, inactivity or injury. Specialized yoga practices can help! Learn stretches that help lengthen the spine, gentle poses that help reduce muscle tension and nerve pain, safe poses that increase flexibility in the neck and shoulders, strengthening poses that improve posture and alignment, and relaxation exercises that relieve chronic pain. Each class will enable you to become more knowledgeable about ways to move your back in a healthy manner. Dress in loose clothes and bring a pillow and blanket along with a yoga mat.

Zumba Gold is the perfect option for those new to Zumba, older active adults, and for those who are de-conditioned and want to become more active.

Zumba Gold is an easy to follow program using simple moves allowing participants to move to the beat at their own pace. This is exercise in disguise!

This is a beginner class and is suitable for all ages and abilities. Bring water and shoes that do not have a tread but allow you to move easily across floor surfaces.

Take the Zumba fun to the next level! This class offers the best of both worlds - the fun of Zumba with the benefits of safe and effective strength training. It's an easy to follow, health-boosting dance fitness program for baby boomers, active seniors, as well as for those new to zumba.

Through dynamic lightweight resistance training and zumba dance moves, this class helps participants build muscle strength, increase bone density and improve mobility, posture and coordination.

Weights are provided by the instructor or are available for purchase.
