Wine Bottle Tulips

Spring + Mother’s Day are in the air! This bottle with yellow tulips will fit right in! To make it festive we’ll add lights! The painting will be done with multi-surface paints, suitable for glass. Students must bring acrylic brushes to class. A materials fee of $12.00 is due to the instructor at the class.

Create your unique path with the help of stepping-stone. Learn how to use tools while working with our extensive tile collection. Pour your cement and take the form home to be removed the next day. Workshop fee includes materials to make one 9-inch stepping-stone.

Safety in the Modern World

In this 3 week course, participants will learn some basic ways to handle everyday situations that have the potential to turn violent.

It is not unrealistic to be in a situation where you have to control a scenario involving a family member or friend that has escalated out of hand.  

This course looks to bridge that gap and address what happens in a situation when reasonable force is needed.  A potentially dangerous situation where injuring one of the parties is not necessary, but some level of physical component is likely to be utilized.  Conflict resolution skills will be taught in the form of de-escalation strategies, avoidance, restraining and controlling techniques.

Adults 18 and over are welcome to attend. No prior martial arts experience necessary.

Worm Composting Alumni Harvest 2

This will be a free session for any interested composting alumni. The instructor will inspect worm bins, demonstrate and assist with harvesting, and answer any questions.
