Mozzarella and Ricotta Cheese-Session I

If you love cheese, sign up for this one-night hands-on class! Learn to make ricotta and mozzarella cheese without any special tools or pans. Enjoy a tasting session during class and then take home some of your cheeses to enjoy. Students will need to bring 2, one-pint containers to take cheese home. A materials fee of $8.00 is due to the instructor at class.

If you are stuck in a Mac and Cheese rut-you are in for a surprise in this one night class where pasta is the star attraction! We will learn about and taste varieties of pasta and correct preparation. We will make Pasta Pancetta, Rotini with Toasted Walnuts, Blue Cheese and Chives and easy Creamy Chicken and Broccoli Pesto Bow Ties. Pasta can transform into a quick and nutritious meal and use much less sodium than commercial products. Bring containers to take home samples. Recipes and directions included for all dishes. A material fee of $10.00 is included in the registration fee. Class size limited to 12.

Preserving Your Spring Bounty - Pesto

This hands-on food preservation workshop will teach you the basics of freezing fruits & vegetables. This is an easy and economical way to preserve the great vegetables from your garden. Participants will receive a “Preserving the Harvest” food preservation packet and will learn recommended methods for preserving foods, the latest and safest recipes and food safety. Join us in this beginner level class as we make pesto, which you will be taking home with you! A materials fee of $15 is due to the instructor at class.

Preserving Your Spring Bounty - Strawberry Jam

Ever wonder how to preserve all those great seasonal fruits and vegetables? This hands-on food preservation workshop will teach you the basic steps for hot water bath canning and freezing. Students will learn how to make strawberry jam using fresh strawberries. They will also receive a “Preserving the Harvest” food preservation packet, and will learn recommended methods for preserving foods, the latest and safest recipes, equipment to ensure safety, and how to check for properly sealed jars. This is a beginning-level class. Please bring a potholder with you to the workshop. You will be able to take home a jar of strawberry jam! A materials fee of $15 is due to the instructor at class.

Romantic Dinners on a Budget

This class will present romantic dinner ideas and how to set the scene for the perfect, romantic night in with your significant other, without spending a lot of your hard earned money. Scone Home-A Night of Scone Delights

You do not need to be ET to make a wonderful scone! If you have had flat or tough dry scones this might be just the class you have been waiting for. Debra will show you step by step how to make light and tender Chocolate Cherry Scones, Apricot Ginger Scones, Cranberry Orange Scones and Bacon, Cheddar & Chive Scones as well as classic basic scones. This class will be participatory and samples of all items will be tasted and the rest divided among the class. Soooo...get a friend to sign up with you and enjoy the evening! Remember to bring your apron and an empty container to store all that you will take home. A material fee of $10.00 is included in the registration fee. Class size limited to 12.

Super Bowl Sunday Foods

Samples will be available and each student will go home with copies of the recipes to share and make again! A materials fee of $5 is due to the instructor at first class.
