This class is through the National Digital Equity Center, a program dedicated to providing Maine students with computer skills and digital literacy. Students will learn about the Microsoft program Word. The Word program can be used for documents, letters, and resumes. Students will be able to explore the different templates Word has to offer.
Adult, Infant, Child CPR & First Aid Session II

This class includes CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) for adult, child, and infant, as well as AED (automated external defibrillator) and first aid. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and care for individuals in emergency situations including cardiac arrest. Emphasis will be on providing basic care until advanced medical care personnel arrive and take charge. American Heart Association CPR certification will be awarded upon successful completion of class requirements. Class may run until 9:00pm.

Debra has operated River Escape for over two years in Damariscotta as an active and popular Airbnb. She has also interviewed many other Airbnb or VRBO owners and put together a class full of good information, tips and stories of unusual events in the life of a short term landlord. Included will be issues dealing with ordinance, insurance, expectations, fee, hosting, communication, neighbors and more.
