This class is through the National Digital Equity Center, a program dedicated to providing Maine students with computer skills and digital literacy. In this class students will adopt a safer mindset, gain an understanding of internet threats, and learn about internet safety and privacy. Students will also be googling themselves to know their online presence. Sign up and learn how to be safe on the internet.

Proficient technology skills are necessary for college success. In this class you will learn and practice essential skills that will improve yourconfidence and ability to complete course work. Document writing andediting (MS Word and Google), preparing presentations (Powerpoint),basic hardware/software maintenance, internet research, digitalcommunication and online learning skills will be taught and practiced.

This class is through the National Digital Equity Center, a program dedicated to providing Maine students with computer skills and digital literacy. In this class students will gain an understanding of hardware vs software. They will understand the anatomy of a computer as well as the operating systems: Windows and Apple OS. Students will learn about file systems and file extensions: .doc, .pdf, .mp3. This class will also teach students about internet access. Sign up to get a better understanding of your computer.

This class is through the National Digital Equity Center, a program dedicated to providing Maine students with computer skills and digital literacy. In this class students will learn about the Microsoft program Excel. They will gain a better understanding of spreadsheets which can be used to track numbers, form lists, and data entry.

Adult, Infant, Child CPR & First Aid Session I

This class includes CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) for adult, child, and infant, as well as AED (automated external defibrillator) and first aid. Students will gain the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize and care for individuals in emergency situations including cardiac arrest. Emphasis will be on providing basic care until advanced medical care personnel arrive and take charge. American Heart Association CPR certification will be awarded upon successful completion of class requirements. Class may run until 9:00pm.

Students will learn about the Microsoft program Word. The Word program can be used for documents, letters, and resumes. Students will be able to explore the different templates Word has to offer.
