Looking for a new career? Interested in changing lives of those around you? How about a part-time career or to get paid to work out?

This program is designed to teach you everything you need to know to enter the health and fitness field as a group fitness instructor and/or personal trainer.

Our trainers are highly recognized in this field, with more than 20 years experience, and will provide you hands-on training to pass the national tests through AFAA.

The program is all-inclusive. You may choose to complete both group fitness and personal training, or take one or the other. Lectures are once a week for 10 or 20 weeks. $1,500 or $3,000 for both.

All materials included in fee including National Certification Exams.

The Certified Nurses Aid-Medications course follows standardized curriculum approved by the Maine State Board of Nursing.

The purpose of this course is to teach experienced certified nurses assistants to administer selected non-injectable medications to patients who are 4 years of age and older. This complex nursing task is to be performed under the direct on-site supervision of a licensed nurse only in long-term care nursing facilities, state mental health institutions, county jails and state correctional facilities and assistive living settings.

Participants must be referred by the facility in which they work.

The CNA program is a 200-hour course consisting of classroom, lab and clinical instruction in an area health care facility. This program meets the Maine State Board of Nursing requirements.

Successful completion of this course and passing the State of Maine CNA competency exam will qualify an assistant to work in a hospital, rehabilitation facility, clinic, or home health care.

An admission interview is required along with a reading assessment to show English reading proficiency. Upon acceptance to the CNA program, an applicant must have a background check.

Candidates for the CNA program must call us at 582-3774 to arrange an appointment for the CASAS Reading Assessment.

Candidates will be given an application packet to submit when they complete the assessment, along with a list of items they will need for the interview.

Classes will be held Thursday and Friday during the day beginning March 1, 2018, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. for 12 weeks.

This is an all-inclusive 16-week certification course. Medical Assistants are responsible for a variety of medical office tasks from administrative to technical and scientific duties and must have quality human relations skills.

Some of the job duties include cleaning and dressing wounds, taking blood samples, administering medications, taking vitals, preparing a patient for EKGs, obtaining a patient’s history, and assisting physicians during examinations.

Our program provides virtual reality style classroom work as well as traditional style teaching for a blended learning experience. Practicals are performed during the program to ensure that the student has proper techniques and will be ready to pass the National Certification.

Upon completion of the program, you will sit for your CCMA (Clinical Certified Medical Assistant) national certification exams through NHA. $3000 includes national certification, 6 practice exams, online study guide materials, books, resume assistance, and all other associated fees. Externships may be available in your area.

This is a 10-week Certificate program in Dental Assisting for one of the most high-demand careers. This program is designed to teach all aspects of dental assisting and provide you the skills you need to work in this field and pass a national certificate exam.

The program is taught by a Dentist and includes an opportunity for internships.

The $2400 price of the course includes all books, exam preparation materials and fees for the DANB RHS® certificate program. Upon passing the DANB RHS®, you will receive a certificate of knowledge based on competency for that component from DANB.
